Special Education

Waitaha School base school was purpose built in 2001 with four main classrooms. Three classrooms have their own side rooms and inner courtyards. All classrooms share the outer courtyard which comprise the playground, ball court and cycling paths for trikes or bikes. In this leafy and treed envorinment, students can find their place of calm and quietness. Do notice there is an absence of a time out room.
Adjacent to our school is the Chapel of the Holy Family which we can use for our assemblies. The Maddison Park connects our base school to our Waitaha at Brackenridge Unit sited in the Brackenridge Estate. We have access to the extensive sealed roads and grassy lawns in the spacious Maddison Park. In this unique location, we seek to provide a range of environments to suit the various needs of our students.
